Composition Colloquium: Sean Malikides
PhD students in Composition host a colloquium with guest artist Sean Malikides.
Kai Lab is a London-based arts and design practice creating electronic, mechanical, and sonic artworks. Driven by a desire to understand and express the core elements of complex natural phenomena, we craft pieces that make the intangible tangible, inviting audiences to engage all their senses. Our work explores the beauty that emerges from the intersection of strict physical laws and the randomness of a chaotic environment. By balancing technological control with natural unpredictability, we aim to create objects and spaces that are both relatable and surprising, offering new perspectives on our surroundings.
