Reforesting the Azuero Peninsula
Sandra Vásquez de Zambrano, Executive Director of Fundación Pro Eco Azuero, will be delivering a talk on reforestation at Princeton University. With over six years at the helm of Pro Eco Azuero, Sandra has expanded the organization's reforestation, environmental education, and sustainable income programs, empowering rural communities in Panama. Her presentation will delve into strategies for tropical dry forest restoration, community engagement in conservation efforts, and the broader implications of reforestation on biodiversity and climate resilience. Attendees will gain insights from her extensive experience in implementing sustainable environmental practices in human-dominated landscapes
